We're saying "I do" in the mountains...
...and we want to share that moment with our favorite people.
We hope to see you on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, in a very special spot of the Madrid mountains: La Granja de Lozoya venue. The symbolic ceremony will begin at 1:30 PM, followed by cocktails, dinner, and lots of dancing. The celebration continues on Sunday… check the website for more details!
From the beginning
We met in the summer of 2014, when David saw Carmen singing in Zarzalejo and thought, “this looks promising.”
Since then, we haven't stopped: ski trips full of speed competitions, cheese, wine, and coffee tastings (any excuse to eat is a good one), bachata and cooking classes, lots of study hours, concerts, bike rides that started off with enthusiasm and ended in sore muscles, and many, many moves.
We've lived in Asturias, Gran Canaria, and Madrid. We raised Joey as the most spoiled dog on the planet (the bed is his, not ours), changed jobs, skated, trained, geeked out, traveled, met amazing people—and yes, argued (a lot) over what series or movie to watch.
After more than ten years, we're still not tired of each other, so this wedding is our way of celebrating in style… before either of us has second thoughts.
How to
get there
By car
There are two possible routes:

M-604 through the mountains of Madrid – the views are totally worth it 🌲🌲🌲
-
E5/A6, which is faster, but you’ll miss out on that mountain experience.
By bus
From Plaza de Castilla bus station, there is a direct bus to the village of Lozoya, where the venue is located. The bus line is 194, departing from platform 35. You can check the schedule here .
Where to
stay
There are various places to stay in the area to choose from, so we've put together a list of hotels, rural houses, and hostels to help you find the option that best suits your needs.
The places to stay are in a mountain area where people don’t usually speak much English, so feel free to message me if you want help booking your accommodation.

Transportation
If you decide not to drive back on your own and prefer to stay overnight in the area, there will be a bus that will go around the different villages where the accommodations are located.

Departure time: 11:30 p.m. (the bus will make several trips if needed, in case everyone doesn’t fit in one go).

Route: Lozoya > Pinilla del valle > Alameda del valle > Oteruelo del valle > Los Grifos > Rascafría.
